A group of Jewish partizans of Kleck was organized including: Yaakov Geller, Shlomo Shmukler, Alter Me’irovitz, Motl Gelfand, the writer of this article [Kashetzki] and the Political commissar (?). We drove in winter coaches through the villages Svitz, Sakritz, Pankratovitz and reached the edge of Tzafra street. We put the horses and coach next to a barn and in the darkness of night walked in the street. A BieloRussian policeman noticed them and ran away. We tried to catch him…
A miracle, a Jewish partisan told me that he met two Jewish boys who ran away from Kleck’s ghetto and brought them to the partisan headquarters... I found them and then saw many Jews, among them Alter Meirovitz, Lea Fish (how in Israel) , Beila Tzipin (Canada). Motl Gelfand (in Israel) Yisuf Pshpyorka (Russia), Shlomo Shmukler (America), Kil Leiba (unknown fate) etc.
We were about 300 Jews with 50 Christians and organized the Z’ukov famous partisan regiment/brigade. ..
